The things families ask us most often, in plain language.
Nothing. Creating your profile, browsing, matching and messaging are free, and they stay free.
About a minute. We ask for your name, gender, email and a password — that is it. You can fill in the rest of your profile whenever you like, and it saves as you go.
Yes. Invite a family member as a manager on your one profile, and decide what they're allowed to do — each account still holds a single profile.
No. You can browse as soon as your account exists. A more complete profile simply gets better matches and more replies.
New profiles wait on identity verification. You do not need to do anything else — as soon as the result comes back, your profile is published automatically.
Every photo is reviewed before it is published. Once a photo clears review it appears on your profile automatically, usually well before you next log in.
A clear, recent photo of you alone, face visible, no heavy filters. Group photos and screenshots are the most common reason a photo is sent back.
It means we have checked the documents behind a specific claim — identity, education or employment — not just that an account exists.
By default your profile is shown to members of the opposite gender who are searching for a match. You can narrow this further, and you can hide individual profiles from your own view at any time.
Your saved partner preferences form the baseline, and any filters you add narrow it further. When we run out of profiles that match exactly, we show nearby profiles below a clear divider so you always know which is which.
No. Marital-status preference is treated as strict. If you have set never married, only never-married profiles appear in your matches and search results.
You express interest. If the other side accepts, a private conversation opens between you. Nobody can message you before that.
No. LaariLaara exists for people looking for marriage, and the experience is built end to end around that — from what we ask, to how introductions are made, to how conversations are expected to be conducted.
You choose, per photo — everyone, members only, or just people you have connected with.
Your conversations are visible only to you and the person you are speaking with. Automated safety checks run on the platform to keep the community respectful.
Yes, both. You can request an export or erasure from your account settings at any time. See Privacy & your data for what we hold and how long we keep it.
Report them from their profile or from the conversation. Reports are reviewed, and you can block a profile immediately so they can no longer reach you.
Write to us at support@laarilaara.com and a person will reply.
